This is a blog about math, and applying it to American life.
The math here is very practically oriented. We won’t be discussing grand math theories or diving into esoterica. We will be talking about the numbers that impact us.
We’re not doing perfect math here. A lot of what we are doing is ‘bounding the problem’ — in other words, we might not know the exact answer, but we can get close. We can determine if it’s more than one thing or less than other.
The goal is practical utility.
